To help meet educational expenses each semester, Columbia State is pleased to offer Nelnet Business Solutions QuikPAY Payment Plans, a convenient, automatic payment plan. It is not a loan, therefore, there is no debt, and no interest or finance charges are assessed. No credit check is required.

Summer 2020 Deadline

Available starting April 6, 2020

Payments are processed the 20th of each month.

To setup a QuikPAY account and payment plan:

  1. Login to MyChargerNet
  2. Click on the Student tab (in the box on the left)
  3. Click on Student in the Self-Service box
  4. Click on Student Account
  5. Click on Set Up a Payment Plan (QuikPAY)
  6. Click on Payment Plan (in the box on the left)
  7. Follow directions from there to set up your payment plan

Payment Plan Overview and Schedule

  • A $25 per semester nonrefundable fee is required. The QuikPAY enrollment fee is automatically deducted from your account immediately upon submission of your agreement.
  • Payments are automatically deducted on the 5th of each month (except for summer semester which is deducted on the 20th) from a designated checking or savings account, or you may also have your payment charged to a credit card. If you elect to use a credit card, only VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. Please note: Check, Debit and ATM cards may be returned unpaid due to daily limit restrictions imposed by your bank.
  • If your payment on the 5th is not successful, Nelnet Business Solutions will reattempt the payment on the 20th of the month. If a payment is not successful, you will receive notification from them on how the unsuccessful payment will be handled. Your agreement will be processed until the balance owed is paid in full.
  • For each returned payment, Nelnet assesses a $30 returned payment fee.
  • Returned payment fees are automatically deducted from the designated account. If your returned payment fee is returned, it will be reattempted. Returned payment fees are payable to Nelnet Business Solutions. If you have questions, please contact Nelnet at 888.470.6014, or the Columbia State Community College Business Office at 931.540.2530.

Completing the QuikPAY Agreement 
When applying online be sure to have the following information:

  • If paying by automatic bank payments you will need the financial institution's name, telephone number, account number, and the financial institution's routing number. Most of this information is located on your personal check.
  • If paying by credit card, you will need the credit card number and expiration date.

Through QuikPAY, you are also able to authorize others to set up a payment plan for your student account.
