Columbia State Offers ACT Prep Courses

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - April 9, 2015) - - - Columbia State Community College's Center for Workforce Development is offering an ACT test prep course this spring for Middle Tennessee high school students who plan to take the required national college admissions exam this summer.

Classes will meet one evening per week for five weeks. The course is fast-paced and covers the five areas of the ACT test: English, math, reading, science and writing. In addition, students will learn test-taking strategies and take practice tests. Fees are $140 per person, and each student will receive a prep guide on the first evening of class.

The prep course will take place at the following Columbia State locations:

Maury County

  • Columbia Campus May 7 - June 4 6 - 8:30 p.m.

Lawrence County

  • Lawrence County Campus April 28 - May 26 5:30 - 8 p.m.

Marshall County

  • Lewisburg Campus April 27 - June 1 5:30 - 8 p.m.

Williamson County

  • Williamson Campus April 21 - May 19 5:30 - 8 p.m.
