Celebrating 250 Years of America Through Music

The 24th season of Columbia State’s Performance Series sponsored by First Farmers & Merchants Bank coincides with the nation’s 250th anniversary, and we’re marking the occasion with unforgettable music. Across six concerts, the series showcases the sounds that have shaped America’s cultural heartbeat: jazz, soul, country and classic pop.

While not every song is strictly patriotic or American-born, each performance reflects the richness of America’s musical heritage, shaped by diverse traditions and voices. From timeless classics to fresh interpretations, this season honors the spirit of creativity and resilience that continues to rise from America’s history — celebrating the music that brings people together.

Join us as we celebrate America’s story through the universal language of music — one stage, six performances, countless moments to remember.
