FREE LABOR STANDARDS TRAINING AT COLUMBIA STATE

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - May 15, 2012) - - - A representative of The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development's Labor Standards Division, Thomas Hamlett, will present a free 2-hour training session in room 123 of the Waymon L. Hickman building on Friday, June 8 at 9 a.m. on the Columbia campus of Columbia State Community College.

The session will provide comprehensive training in the Wage Regulation Act, the Child Labor Act, the Employment of Illegal Aliens Law and the Non-Smoker's Protection Act as regulated under Tennessee law.

While the session is free, seating is very limited. Please call (931) 540-2660 to reserve a seat. The Columbia campus is at 1665 Hampshire Pike in Columbia.
