Social media has impacted American culture and society.

The question lies, does social media influence people, or do the people on social media influence us as a whole?

There's no question that a majority are addicted to social media, but is that for the right or wrong reason?

Are we playing the role of leaders, or are we playing the role of sheep?

There's no question that social media has changed our thoughts and views on many issues. However, are we allowing social media to help us think?

Whether you agree or not, we're all influenced by social media in some aspect. The real question that we should ask ourselves is, are we the puppeteer of social media, or does social media have us by the strings?
