ADA Proctoring

If you have a documented learning, emotional or physical disability you may be eligible to take your test with special accommodations. Testing Services provides special accommodations proctoring for students.

Guidelines for Students:
  1. Contact the Disabilities Services Office to get your accommodations approved.   
  2. Inform your instructor of your approved accommodations. Your instructor will forward your exam to Testing Services.
  3. Read the Examinee Guidelines.
  4. When you are ready to test, plan ahead by contacting Testing Services at the campus nearest you or by emailing
  5. Tests will be given by appointment only.
  6. You must arrive at the Testing Center with enough time remaining in order to complete the exam in the allotted time.
  7. Contact Testing Services for any questions.
How to Apply:
STOP! Before registering online and to ensure that you are given the correct test, please provide the following information: 
  • Instructor's name
  • Instructor's email 
  • Course Name and Number
  • Name of Home Instituion

Each campus schedules their own ADA Proctoring exams. Contact the campus nearest you if assistance with registering is needed.

Information for Faculty
  1. Students should present an Approved Accommodations form to you prior to testing. 
  2. If you are unable to provide the accommodations you may complete a Test Proctoring Cover Form. Forward the Test Proctoring Cover Sheet and any test materials to Testing Services at least 3 days before the exam deadline. 
  3. You or someone you designate (must be a Columbia State employee) may pick up the test upon completion. Testing Services will notify you by e-mail when the test has been completed.
