I support Columbia State because...

Con Vrailas

“…of the opportunities it gives those who would not otherwise have an affordable education that both young students and adults seeking to improve their lives can attain. Columbia State also provides local athletic and cultural events to enrich the community. The Pryor Art Gallery and Cherry Theater are beautiful venues not found in most small towns. Columbia State is close to my heart because a two-year college was a very important step in my life. I have seen that same impact here. The College supplies the region with well-prepared employees for in-demand jobs. Students who choose to go on to four-year colleges are equally prepared. The future Center for Health Sciences and Industrial Technologies building on the Columbia campus will even further the College’s importance.”

Con Vrailas, retired businessman, first became involved in Columbia State when his daughter was a student at the College. He has served on the Foundation Board for many years, and has brought his business experience to the Investment and Finance Committee for the entirety of his terms.
