Columbia State student overseas

Foreign Language
TTP: A.A.

Learning a second (and third!) language is not only a good way to enrich your experience of the world, but it's also a good way to separate yourself from other job seekers in the workforce.

The Foreign Language emphasis is a two-year program for students planning to complete a bachelor’s degree at a four-year school. Trained language interpreters and translators have job opportunities in a wide range of fields, including translating documents, conference interpreters, judiciary interpreters and medical translators as well as teachers and professors in higher education. Most jobs are found in large urban areas like Washington D.C.
