Obtaining Your Columbia State Transcript

The most expedient way for students to request their Columbia State transcript is online through myChargerNet. Transcripts requested online (rather than completing the paper request) eliminate the need for data entry by staff and provide a quicker turnaround of the request.

No transcripts will be released for or to a student who has any financial obligations with the College or who has not completed all admissions requirements. Please check your account to be sure none of these types of “hold flags” exist.

The Records Office does not issue or reproduce transcripts from other institutions of higher or secondary education. Requests for transcripts or work taken at other colleges, universities, or high schools must be directed to the institution concerned.

The Records Office does not fax or email transcripts. Nor does it accept transcript requests by phone or email.

Both official and unofficial Columbia State transcripts may be acquired by current and former students, using several methods:

Current Students, Online, Official

Who: Current students
How: Online request
What: Official transcript
Details: Any student can use myChargerNet and request an official transcript by selecting "Request Transcript" on the myCN Self-Service menu. Students may also view the status of a transcript request in the same location.

Former Students/Alumni, Online, Official

Who: Former students and alumni
How: Online request
What: Official transcript
Details: Former students and alumni may request an official transcript online by using SSB.
Instructions:
  • Your user ID is your social security number. Your PIN is your birthday (MMDDYY). Click the LOGIN button.
  • You will receive one of two messages after selecting LOGIN – Your pin has expired or Authorization Failure. If you get an authorization failure message, re-enter your SS# for user ID, but do not enter a pin number. Click forgot PIN. You should see a security question. Answer it and you should be in your account.
  • The first time you enter SSB and login, the system will ask you to change your PIN. Do this, and then be sure to remember it for next time. You will also be asked to enter a security question and answer, in case you forget your PIN later (the “Forgot PIN?” link on the login page). If you are unable to login then you will need to use Method 5.
  • After logging in, select “Student.” On the next page, select “Request Printed Transcript.” Students may also view the status of a transcript request in the same location.
