"I got the tassel at Columbia State," says accelerated business management alumnae Deborah Schubert.
“We should be shouting from the rooftops that working adults can get their degree fast and conveniently through Columbia State’s Accelerated Business Management program,” said Schubert, a Part Release Analyst with Saturn. Schubert was referring to a program Columbia State’s business and technology division is offering – an accelerated business management degree. Classes are available at all five Columbia State locations – Columbia, Williamson County, Lawrence County, Lewisburg and Clifton.
“This is an unbelievable program for a working adult like myself! Working full time, raising a family & taking classes at night the traditional way is just too much for most people and I couldn't do it,” says Schubert. “So having the option of doing the Columbia State program and then going on to Trevecca to get my Bachelor’s, all in only two or three years is such a blessing. I'm so excited about this program that I've been telling everyone about it.”
Students earn an Associate of Applied Science degree via this program, and through a partnership with Trevecca, they can use their Columbia State credits to earn a Bachelor’s degree.
Trevecca is offering its programs at both Columbia and Williamson County campuses of Columbia State Community College.
