J.R. Moon Outing Raises More Than $10,000

Lewisburg Campus Host 13th Annual James R. Moon Golf Tournament - Raises Approximately $10,000 for Scholarships

More than 25 teams participated in the 13th annual James R. Moon Columbia State Foundation Golf Classic which was held at the Saddle Creek Golf Club in Lewisburg, TN on Thursday June 4. Approximately $10,000 was raised for scholarships during the event.

“Once again the Lewisburg community has supported the Columbia State Foundation James R. Moon Golf Tournament by participating in this 13th annual event,” said Tom Turchetta, Columbia State’s director of alumni relations and community events. “We appreciate all the participants and businesses that helped make this event a success.”

First Place winner in the first flight was ACS Insulation, team of Tim Blalock, Jamie Hlubb, Ken Smith, and Steve Vails.

First place winner in the second flight was the Clarke Oldham Team, team of Clarke Oldham, Will Collins, Mark Blackburn, and Robert Oldham.
