Graymere Country Club Hosts 17th Annual Columbia State Foundation Golf Classic
More than one hundred golfers competed in the 17th Annual Columbia State Foundation Columbia Golf Classic raising more than $10,000 for scholarships on May 18. Approximately 36 teams compete annually in the tournament, raising monies for scholarships. This year the tournament took place at Graymere Country Club in Columbia, Tennessee.
“The teams, Graymere Country Club staff and Columbia State employees joined together to make this event a success,” said Tom Turchetta, Columbia State’s director of alumni relations and community events. “The money raised at this event will directly benefit students in Maury County.”
Championship flight
First place winner in the championship flight was the Industrial Contractors team of Pam Pressnell, Amy Todd, Jeff Hargrove, and Jack Sullivan (pictured).
First flight
First place winner of the first flight with a score of 60 was the Tom Brewer team of Tom Brewer, Rick Harris, Mike Pfeiffer, and Dickie Cook.
Second flight
The Vulcan Materials team took first place in the second flight. Its members were Jonathan Clarke, Steve McIntyre, Fletcher Taylor, and Michael Hester.
Third flight
First place winner in the third flight was the Amber Falls Winery team. Members of that team were Tim Zaunbrecher, Vance Hamilton, Randy Wilmore, and Charles Crews.
