First Home Games Slated For Wednesday, November 3
(Columbia, Tenn. – October 14, 2010) - - - Columbia State Community College’s Chargers and Lady Chargers basketball season opens at home on Wednesday, November 3 in the Webster Athletic Center on the Columbia Campus. The women’s game starts at 6 p.m. and the men’s game starts at 8 p.m.
“I think we have good team chemistry and players are working extremely hard,” said Jay Joyner, head men’s coach. “Our first five games will be very challenging. We have a huge Freshmen Class and they will have to grow up fast competing in our tough conference.”
“From a one-win season last year, this season our only goal on the floor is nothing short of the TCCAA Championship,” said John McGraw, women’s head coach. “Off the floor, it is important that we stay on track to graduate and academically strong.”
