Rad Tech Orientation Sign Up:

The first step in the application process is to sign up for a Preliminary Interview/Orientation session.  These sessions are offered by program faculty periodically throughout the application period.  Applicants should expect the session to take 1-2 hours depending on the size of the group.  It is recommended that applicants know their developmental studies placement status prior to attending orientation.  This allows faculty to provide individual advising at the conclusion of the orientation regarding eligibility.  Remember that to be eligible for an interview any required developmental course work must be completed prior to the February 1 application deadline.  At the orientation faculty will provide information about the program, the application process, the profession, distribute all paperwork relative to application, and schedule the required clinical observation.

Applicants are encouraged to attend orientation as early as possible.  To allow time for all application materials to reach program offices by the annual deadline of February 1, the last orientation session will be scheduled in early January.  When the maximum capacity is reached for the required, on site, hospital observation, no additional observations will be scheduled and it will be impossible for subsequent applicants to fulfill the requirements.

If none of the sessions below work with your schedule, please check back later.  Sessions will be added regularly until the observation capacity has been reached.

If you attended an orientation within the last year there is no need to attend another.  If you completed the application process simply inform faculty of your intent to reapply by sending an e-mail or letter asking that your file be reactivated.

Please review the admissions criteria on the Rad Tech website before signing up for an orientation to determine eligibility.
