Online Catalog 

►Helps you locate books (circulating and reference), AV materials, and e-books owned by the library.
►Access via library’s web page from any PC connected to the internet.
►Helpful subject headings might include:  Radiology; Technology, Radiologic; Magnetic Resonance Imaging; Radiologic Technologists; Radiography
►Always check the copyright date to see how current the information is.  Under the Library of Congress call number scheme used by the library, most radiology topics will be found in RC78.

Reference Books (atlases, dictionaries, directories, encyclopedias, gazetteers, handbooks, statistical compilations, and style guides):

►In Columbia, the reference collection is on the 1st floor of the library.

Current Periodicals:

The library receives current issues of Radiologic Technology (RT) in paper:
►RT is displayed alphabetically in the periodicals reading area on the first floor of the Columbia library.  
►Older issues of RT are stored underneath the panel where the current issue is displayed or on shelves located to the right as you enter the area.  
► RT is full-text from 1996-2008 in the following databases:  Academic One File; Expanded Academic Index ASAP; General OneFile; General Reference Center Gold; Health & Wellness Resource Center; Health Reference Center -- Academic)
► RT is indexed from 1981-forward in the database CINAHL with Full Text

Accessing Electronic Resources from Off-Campus

The online catalog is available from any internet-connected PC. You do not need a login.

Accessing the article databases requires your Columbia State PVT (network) username and password. If your PVT account is not working, contact Information Technology in the library basement (931-540-2650), or go to the Information Technology webpage and see if you can reset it.
