Welcome to Columbia State Community College. We encourage you to visit us any time - in person or through this site.
The faculty, staff, and I are committed to student success both in and out of the classroom, as well as economic and community development in our nine county service area.
We encourage our students to complete their degree prior to transferring or entering the workplace, as the degree eases transition and it is theirs.
Our goal is to help students achieve success. We understand that prospective students may have questions to discuss with a college official or curriculum advisor. You are encouraged to seek out personnel in the Admissions office, Financial Aid office, Advising Center, other college offices, or your assigned advisor for assistance. We are here to assist you in reaching your educational goals and to provide an outstanding college experience.
We also encourage students to become involved – participate and/or attend many of the extracurricular happenings that will enhance learning. Through myChargerNet, the campus-student Internet connection, students are notified of weekly events which include plays, art exhibits, concerts, athletics, competitions, curriculum/academic societies, and student government.
Columbia State is fortunate to have great community support throughout our nine-county service area, and we strive to give back to the communities as well, through cultural events, performances and other extended services and opportunities.
