Quick Fact

VoIP

“Voice over IP” (VoIP) has come of age especially over the past few years. More and more businesses are relying on their VoIP systems for telecommunications – from banks to insurance companies and hospitals to colleges and universities. More than 2.8 million people had Internet phone subscriptions in 2004;  that number is estimated to be 97 million in 2009.
