Williamson County Campus Construction Manager Contract Awarded

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Aug. 23, 2013) - - - The Tennessee State Building Commission recently awarded Hoar Construction, LLC, the contract for the construction manager/general contractor for the Columbia State Community College Williamson County campus relocation project.

“We’re delighted that the project is moving forward and getting closer to breaking ground for this much needed campus,” said Janet F. Smith, Ph.D., Columbia State president. “Hoar Construction has built numerous buildings on multiple college campuses. We are confident that they will deliver a quality campus that will meet the growing demands of the college.”

College personnel, Tennessee Board of Regents staff and architects from Bauer – Askew will meet with members of the Hoar team Wednesday, Aug. 28 for introductions and to discuss the next steps in the project.
