Columbia State’s Associate of Fine Arts degree provides students with a broad liberal arts education and the skills necessary to explore music through its history, composition, theory and performance.

Students on the Tennessee Transfer Pathway may choose from two areas of emphasis: (1) instrumental education and performance, or (2) choral/vocal education and performance.

Columbia State choir performing College Choir Under the direction of Instructor of Music Holli Scholz, the mixed men's and women's choir performs at a variety of events each semester including the school's end of semester music program as well as Columbia State sporting events. Instrumental ensemble practicing in a classroom Performance Ensemble Performance Ensemble is a two-hour credit course at Columbia State. The course is open to anyone to anyone who owns and can play an instrument at any level. Ensemble performs at a variety of events including Commencement. Email for more information
