How do I get a remote presenter for PowerPoint for a class session?
There are a limited amount of remote presenters available for check out through the Finney Library and at the front desk of the extended campuses.  These must be returned after each class so other faculty may check them out for their class.

How do I get a remote presenter for PowerPoint for permanent use during a semester?
Please check with the Dean or Coordinator of your division to purchase one with division funds.

How do I request the use of a computer lab?
Computer labs located on the Columbia campus should be reserved through a request to Information Technology at helpdesk@columbiastate.edu.  Labs at the Clifton, Franklin, Lawrenceburg, and Lewisburg campuses are reserved through site personnel. Please refer to the following chart for site telephone numbers.

Are student response systems, polling devices sometimes referred to as “clickers,” available to use in the classroom?
Student response systems are considered specialized technology and may be requested for purchase by contacting us at MediaServices@columbiastate.edu. Please note that budgetary restrictions may prohibit us from purchasing any technology item until the next technology access fee (TAF) cycle.  TAF requests are made to the Provost’s office each April for the next fiscal year, which is from July 1 to June 30.

“I saw this really great technology tool that I would like to use in my classroom, how do I get it?”
