The Library does not assign or setup PVT accounts.  You must work in cooperation with Information Technology for any problems pertaining to PVT accounts.

How do I use my PVT account to access the library's databases?

Go to the library's website and click on the "Find Articles" link. The resulting page will give you three options: you can get a "Quick List" of databases, or an alphabetical list by title with fuller descriptions of the databases. Whichever list you use, when you click on the title of a database to access it, you will be taken to a login page. Log in here with your PVT username and password. You will then be taken to the opening page of the database you selected.

Once you have logged into one database, you should be able to use all the library's article databases without having to log in again.
