Unlocking the Compartments

Each multimedia station has equipment compartments. If the doors to the compartments are locked, the key is located in the station's drawer. Note: Faculty who teach in Lewisburg may need to obtain a key from the Lewisburg campus staff.
The master power switch for the multimedia station is located inside the right compartment. Press the switch in a upward direction to turn the power "on." The master power switch should remain on at all times. Do not turn the power off when you are finished using the equipment.Power

Closed Caption Capability

Captions that are encoded on DVD and VHS media can be displayed (decoded) when playing this media in the DVD/VHS machine. To turn on the captions, press the CC ON/OFF button located on the LCD projector switcher. Press it again to turn it off. Note: If you play a DVD movie or video program on the computer using Windows Media Player, you can display captions by going to the PLAY menu and selecting "Captions and Subtitles" and then "On if available." The CC ON/OFF does not decode closed captioning encoded on computer media. This is done by the software program used to play the media from the computer.
