In this tutorial, we will discuss the use of the OpScan 3 to grade tests.  You will also be shown examples of the bubble sheets we have in stock.  We will also discuss other services Information Technology offers to grade tests.
 

Using the OpScan 3 Scanner
 
  1. Press the ON button
     
  2. Press the YES button to perform TEST  SCORING 
     
  3. Hold down the PRESS  TO  LOAD button 
     
  4. Insert ANSWER  KEY
     
  5. Release the PRESS  TO  LOAD button
     
  6. Press the RIGHT button below the LCD (Liquid Color Display).  It is highlighted with "START"
     
  7. If everything is OK, the LCD will display the following blinking message:
    “FEED  OPTIONAL  LETTER  GRADE KEY  OR  ANSWER  KEY”
     
  8. When you are finished scanning tests, press the LEFT button to QUIT.  The LCD will display
    “RESULTS  WILL  BE  LOST”.

    Press the RIGHT button to answer YES.
     
  9. Press the LEFT button until you see POWER  DOWN.  Then press the RIGHT button.
