Columbia State Community College's Film Crew Technology Program helps fill the mechanical and technical void in the entertainment industry, allowing students to learn the necessary skills to become successful working as a crew technician in film and video.
Located in beautiful, historic Franklin, TN, The Film Crew Technology Program at Columbia State Community College is a high intensive 12 month certificate program instructed on a California Industry standard. Students receive training in the mystic arts of Grip, Electrical (lighting) and Art Department. They also receive training in cinematography and NLE (non-linear editing) using FCP (final cut pro).
The advisory board for the FCT Program is comprised of outstanding professionals both locally and nationally as well as members of IATSE (Int'l Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees).
