Introduction to Excel 2013

This course teaches the basic functions and features of Excel 2013. After an introduction to spreadsheet terminology and Excel's window components, students will learn how to use the Help system and navigate worksheets, such as moving and copying data and formulas, formatting cells, working with ranges, rows and columns and manage workbooks. Then they will enter and edit text, values, formulas, and pictures, and they will save workbooks in various formats. Excel 2013 has a new, clean look and provides enhanced features such as making more use of templates, using quick analysis to help you quickly convert data into a chart or table, providing a flash fill which fills in spaces in the worksheet for you, and provides chart recommendations, allowing you to choose the one most suitable.
