Columbia State EMS Education

The CSCCEMS family would like to extend our condolences to the Cline family. David Cline was a FF/Paramedic with the Franklin Fire Department and was tragically killed while transporting a patient. Our thoughts and prayers are with FFD. Also, please pray for the Nashville Firefighter who was attending to the patient at the time of the incident.

May God Bless!

Welcome to Columbia State's EMS Education Program.

Anyone wanting to apply to the Paramedic program must FIRST apply and be accepted to the College. Once admitted to the College, the Paramedic program requires a separate admissions process which will only be accepted once a year in the fall.  If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the Director/Paramedic Coordinator, Dr. David Cauthen, at 931.540.2686.

Anyone seeking acceptance in the EMT program must also apply and be accepted to the College.  Once that process is completed, you will need to contact our department to register for classes, but you will not have to complete a separate admissions process or application. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the EMT Coordinator, Tim Crabtree, at 931.540.2792.
