NURSING INSTRUCTORS
Medical/Surgical – Full Time / Tenure Track
Positions Nos. C167,C179,C180,C181

Currently recruiting for four (4) full-time, tenure track faculty positions responsible for delivering instruction in the nursing discipline. In addition, faculty are expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in divisional and institutional activities related to the college’s mission.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters degree in nursing required
  • Two years recent medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
  • Eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Tennessee required.
  • College teaching experience is preferred.

Criteria questions:
Briefly describe how you have:
1. Remained current in Nursing.
2. Participated in professional development activities.
3. Used alternative modes of instruction.
4. Incorporated instructional technology into your classroom and/or labs. (If this is your first teaching position, how have you used computer technology in your last position?)
5. Participated in curriculum development and evaluation in a college or other setting.
6. Demonstrated concern for student learning.
7. Participated in community or professional service.
