In today’s economy, we realize that donors have to choose more carefully with regard to their charitable contributions. Historically, enrollment in public colleges and universities increases nationwide during economic recessions. In these critical times of layoffs, downsizing, and business failures, more individuals turn to education seeking a new career path.
We have become a “safety net” of sorts in providing those opportunities. The success of these individuals depends on our ability to provide scholarships and programs and meet the financial obligations that increased enrollment brings.
