Advanced Paralegal Career Advancement Certificate
This course helps paralegals gain a competitive advantage by greatly enhancing understanding of many of the substantive law areas covered in the Paralegal Career Advancement Course. The additional training gained through participation in this advanced course will embellish your legal knowledge and skills, which should boost salary and marketability. Although completion of our Paralegal Career Advancement Course provides a strong foundation, it is not a prerequisite to this advanced class. Those who successfully complete at least six advanced topics will be awarded a Continuing Education Certificate of Completion from Columbia State Community College.
Topics include Advanced Legal Research, Victim Advocacy, Constitutional Law and Civil Liberties, Criminal Law, Bankruptcy Law, Family Law, Mediation and Other Forms of ADR, Estate Planning, and Business Law and Practices. The course fee is $275 for each Advanced Paralegal Course topic taken – (does not include the cost of textbooks).
