Education Course Options
- Interactive
Video are like traditional classes but use
specialized equipment for transmission of video and audio to several
locations at once. These courses are offered at all campuses of
Columbia State.
- Internet
courses are offered using the World Wide Web and e-mail.
Students use internet-connected computers at home or in a computer
lab to participate in class at times convenient for themselves.
- Video Courses are video-taped courses that are checked out
by students at the beginning of the semester, supplemented by
texts, study guides, written assignments, and occasional visits
to a campus.
- Regents
Online Degree Program is designed for students seeking
a complete degree online.
All Distance Education courses can be viewed in the online schedule. All distance
education courses are also clearly marked in the college's printed course
schedule. Special equipment needed for internet classes is also
identified in the course schedule.
