Columbia State understands that the educational needs of some learners are not always met with traditional college schedules. In response, Columbia State is offering a Team Tuesday cohort program designed for students who are balancing work, family and other commitments. In this program students enroll as a “cohort” and progress through the program as a group to offer each other encouragement and support.
Columbia State is seeking students interested in participation in a cohort to begin Fall 2012 at the Columbia campus. Courses will be sequenced to allow a student to complete an Associate of Science degree with no particular program emphasis (General Transfer) or with an emphasis in Sociology, Criminal Justice or History with the intention of transferring to a university to earn a Bachelor of Science or higher level degree. All cohort participants will have a common set of courses for the first four semesters and will then complete a group of courses according to the selected emphasis.
