The primary responsibilities as a TalentForce associate within a Customer Service Representative role involves processing orders, answering customer inquiries, and working with customers to resolve various problems and engage customers proactively, leading to increased sales and satisfaction Promotions and rewards are given to top performers-Job Responsibilities: Process and maintain customer orders received via telephone, fax and mail, and enter into online order entry system. Oak Ridge National Laboratory College Internships (CCI) Program.  Each summer, then US Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science, Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists sponsors 10-weeks internships at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and other DOE laboratories across the U.S.  The program seeks to encourage community college students to enter technical careers relevant to DOE’s mission areas.  This summer, ORNL has 11 CCI participants participating in technical and research-based projects under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists/engineers. ORNL is one of three laboratories selected to participate in a pilot semester program for the 2016 spring term.  Students participate in internships onsite at ORNL, full-time (at least 40 hours per week) in technical based projects under the guidance of a scientist/engineer.  Who is eligible to participate?  Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at a community college or accredited two-year college and completed at least one semester at the time of applying.  Must have completed at least 6 credit hours in science, mathematics, engineering, or technology course areas, and completed at least 12 credits hours towards a degree. Must have an undergraduate cumulative minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for all completed courses as a matriculating student. Must be 18 years or older at the time the internship begins.  Must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien at the time of applying. Must have earned a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent at the time of applying. What are the benefits of participating? Participants spend 16 weeks at a DOE National Laboratory engaged in a technical project under the guidance of a laboratory scientist or engineer with all site-specific training provided. Enrichment activities, including career professional development workshops (e.g. technical and scientific writing skills development, poster presentation activities, etc.), laboratory tours, scientific or technical lectures and seminars. Selected students receive a stipend of $500 per week during the internship period and are reimbursed for one round trip domestic travel to ORNL (if their permanent address is more than 50 miles from the host laboratory). Transportation expenses will be reimbursed on the basis of the most direct route. Travel by a private automobile will be reimbursed at the current government rate up to a maximum of $500.00 or the cost of the lowest commercial airfare, whichever is lower. Travel by air will be reimbursed at the cost of the lowest commercial airfare.  An additional $150 per week in housing assistance is provided for students who permanent address is located more than 50 miles from ORNL.  Additional housing information will be provided to selected students prior to arrival.
