Oak Ridge National Laboratory College Internships (CCI) Program.  Each summer, then US Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science, Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists sponsors 10-weeks internships at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and other DOE laboratories across the U.S.  The program seeks to encourage community college students to enter technical careers relevant to DOE’s mission areas.  This summer, ORNL has 11 CCI participants participating in technical and research-based projects under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists/engineers.
