Career Services Career Clusters Pilot Program
The CSCCP program will accept 75 deciding students into the program during the 2013-2014 academic year.
The Career Services Career Clusters Pilot (CSCCP) is based upon the US Department of Education National Career Clusters Framework, which has 16 broad categories to identify the knowledge and skills YOU
need to know in order to COMPETE IN THE WORKFORCE and COMPLETE YOUR CAREER AND EDUCATIONAL GOALS.
This career clusters program will help currently enrolled Columbia Students in exploring the many career occupations available. Each career cluster category encompasses virtually all occupations from entry-level through professional-level.
Program participants will benefit from the inside expertise of business industry leaders who hire Columbia State students and graduates, direct career cluster coaching from peers, priority notification of job and internship opportunities, exclusive participation in career-oriented events, workshops, career days, job fairs, games, activities, prizes, refreshments and awards for participation.
Although all Columbia State students may be included in many of the planned workshops and activities, the CSCCP program participants must be a degree-seeking, currently enrolled student at Columbia State Community College and also an Adult Over Age 25 or
Attended High School in a Southern Rural area. For summaries, pathways and occupations, click here.
