Accelerated Business Management  Calendar

This degree is designed to prepare students for employment or advancement in the business community. Skills obtained in this program could be applied in a variety of settings, including retail, office, hospitality and operations management, as well as sales and customer service. It is specifically designed for the student who plans to enter the workforce after graduation.  Students who plan to pursue a baccalaureate degree in business should follow the Business A.S. or A.A. program.

General Education Requirements

General education requirements must be completed before graduation; they are not required before you start the program.

English Composition I, ENGL 1010 Microeconomics or Macroeconomics, ECO 201 or ECO 202
Humanities/Fine Arts elective*** Speech Communication or Argumentation and Debate, SPT 240 or SPT 280

Math Elective***

 

* Business Ethics, BUS 110, may be used as the BIT/BUS/CIS/COP/MKT elective in the technical certificate and degree.

** The Business Management Technical Certificate includes the first 9 courses (27 credits) listed above  At this point any degree seeking student should have completed all academic assessment requirements and any required developmental courses in order to fulfill future course prerequisites.

*** Courses must meet general education requirements.
