Columbia State Community College has been assisting people fulfill their life-long dreams of earning a college degree for 40 years. This January it is starting a new group of students in its Accelerated Business Management and Business Information Technology programs. Classes meet one night a week and are designed to meet the needs of busy working adults. Coursework takes approximately 18 months, and students will be surrounded by mature, motivated classmates. Both programs prepare students for management and business related positions in many fields. Though these programs do not prepare students to transfer to other state institutions, both programs transfer to Trevecca’s accelerated business and technology programs. It is possible for students to complete both Columbia State and Trevecca’s programs in as little as three years.
