This degree is designed to prepare students for employment or advancement in the business community. Skills obtained in this program could be applied in a variety of settings, including retail, office, hospitality, operations management and entrepreneurship, as well as sales and customer service. It is specifically designed for the student who plans to enter the workforce after graduation. Students who plan to pursue a baccalaureate degree in business should follow the Business A.S. or A.A. program.

The Business Management Technical Certificate includes the first 9 courses (27 credits) listed above. At this point any degree seeking student should have completed all academic assessment requirements and any required developmental courses in order to fulfill future course prerequisites.
The Associate of Applied Science in Business Management requires 60 college-level credits. Some courses have prerequisites and corequisites. See the Columbia State Catalog for more information.
