WE WELCOME OUR NEW STUDENTS
Welcome to Columbia State Community College and the Right Start Orientation program. We’re glad you’ve chosen to attend Columbia State and have designed an Right Start Orientation and Advising program to help you have a great start. In order to register for class you must sign up for one of the required Right Start Orientation and Advising Sessions.
NOTE: Non-degree seeking (Audit, Dual Enrollment, Special Undergraduate, and Transient) and Technical Certificate seeking students are NOT required to attend an Right Start Orientation session before registering for classes but are welcome to attend.

Sign up for a group session as soon as possible so that you’ll have better course and campus selection, personal attention from an advisor and learn important information about Columbia State. You may sign up for a session at any location regardless of the campus you will be attending.
- Parents/Guardians are always welcome but are not required to attend.
- Parent/Guardian specific sessions with staff are available.
