FITT-Instructional Design Team

The Instructional Design Team is made up of Columbia State faculty who are experienced in web course development, pedagogy and have taught an Internet or Web-Enhanced course. They will assist faculty in the design and development of web-enhanced and on-line courses.
Designing the instruction involves making a number of decisions both initially and at other key moments of the project. The Instructional Design Team will remain involved throughout the project to continue providing guidance for the development of the materials.

The Division Chair will evaluate existing on-line courses on Course Format and Facilitation using “Quality-Assurance Guidelines”. All on-line courses will be evaluated annually.
The Vice-President of Academic Services appoints team members, and the Director of Academic Support Services and Distance Education provides oversight for the Instructional Design Team.
