The President’s Leadership Society

At Columbia State, we believe that everyone has the potential to be a leader. With this in mind, the President’s Leadership Society was established.

The Leadership Society is a free training program focused on helping students develop and apply their unique leadership skills. During the course of the program, students will attend a retreat, enjoy exposure to the arts, participate in workshops and campus life, develop civic understanding, and give back to the community through service.

Who’s eligible?
To participate, a student must be currently enrolled in at least one credit hour, have completed 18 or fewer credit hours, and complete a leadership program application.

What are the program requirements?
Students must attend a leadership retreat or orientation and complete 12 approved activities or workshops prior to graduation. These include self-management and goal setting, civic and campus life events, cultural opportunities and community service. Click here for more information.

What are the benefits of completing the program?
Through participation in workshops and campus activities, students will explore and develop their unique strengths and talents. Students who complete the program are recognized at graduation and on their transcripts, helping them stand out from other graduates. Click here to view upcoming events.
