Columbia State's Lady Chargers Softball Program features some of the best fast-pitch action in middle Tennessee. Coach Johnny Littrell started coaching girls' fast pitch softball in 1988 and has won seven State Championships and qualified for numerous national tournaments.
Littrell became head softball coach at Columbia State in 2003 and led the Lady Chargers softball team to a fifth place finish in the TJCCAA Regional Tournament. In 2004, the Lady Chargers finished second in the Western Division, and fourth in the Regional Tournament. In 2005, the team finished second in the Western Division and third in the Regional Tournament. In 2006, Coach Littrell led the Lady Chargers to finish second in the State and second in the Regional Tournaments.

Stocking Drive
Columbia State Community College’s Softball team partnered with First Community Credit Union to support the Second Annual Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Stocking Drive to benefit patients at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
